Tim Tam!

Spring is here and you can really feel the change in atmosphere. More people are flocking the streets and the gardens, especially Jardin du Luxembourg where I've been everyday now since it started becoming warmer. The areas around Pantheon are really nice and we've found some good student cafés that have cheap and good food and coffee! There is especially one at rue Jean Jaques, just next to the Creperie Café on rue Soufflot (leads up to the Pantheon). I love how they have sandwiches which are called Pain suédois, it's polarbröd! haha

The past afternoons/nights have been spent at Starbucks and later Café de la Sorbonne, it's perfect for people watching.

I have to tell you that this day, oh this day... Julia and I were meeting up with Micha in Saint Germain de pres. A girl walks by and she's eating Tim Tams and I couldn't help to make a big loud inhalation like what the f*! out of surprise! The girl turns around noticing that I was staring at her packet of Tim Tams and she smiles, I immediately asks WHERE?! Monoprix, she says with a look of understanding. I go in and there they are. I haven't seen them since I left Australia and I have missed them so! Frog and I sat at the café and he seemed very pleased to re-encounter the delicious treasures, he ordered an irish coffee and we ate Tim Tams precisely the way they should be eaten. Bite of the corners and suck the liquid through it, quickly eat the rest of the Tim Tams while it melts in your mouth. Uh, culinary orgasm. No I'm not exaggerating. Although, I think there are a lot more to Tim Tams then the pure taste of them. They are so filled with memories from a great time and every little bite allows you to relive a moment lost in the past. Ain't that right mate?! (with a really Aussie accent)
Can you believe it?

Proper cappuccino! At Café de la Sorbonne.

This is how much we love them!

Please everyone, hold your thumbs and send me some positive energy the next few days!
